Cash Matters – Now More than Ever

The covid-19 pandemic acted as an accelerant to all things digital – including payments. It is too early to tell what the impact on cash has been in various parts of the world. Some indicators are available, however, which Cash Matters will present. Following the status quo, what are the most important messages for the mint community now when it comes to cash?

Andrea Nitsche is Chair of Cash Matters, a pro-cash movement by the International Currency Association (ICA). She holds an M.A. in Liberal Arts and worked in various industries, both in corporations and associations, always in communications with a focus on media relations, advocacy and crisis communication. She used to live in Canada, teaching at McMaster, as well as in Berlin and Brussels, representing German energy companies. Currently, she is Director Communications at G+D Currency Technology and lives in Munich.
