Presentation by Kazakhstan Mint:

This presentation „New technologies of the Kazakhstan Mint in the field of manufacturing coins of complex shape“ is shown on the example of three coins „UNOVIS“, „550 Years of Finding Miraculous Icon of Theotokos of Zhirovichy“ made by order of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and „QAZAQSTANNYŃ ASTANASY – NUR-SULTAN“ manufactured by order of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It contains information about the production of a convex-concave coin with a color image applied at the lowest point of the coin, i.e. on the concave part of the product, on a coin with a full metal insert of Ag 99.9, located with an offset relative to the center of the coin, as well as a coin in which a striking die was used, on the surface of which a different-texture laser matting was used, the technology of selective gilding and local oxidation was performed.
