Coin blanks surface finishing technology with inline quality inspection

Summary

All coin blanks get a surface conditioning before minting. But minting without any quality control of the blanks is not exactable. Actually the blank inspection is not interlinked with the prior finishing process. New developments in the inspection technology directly connected with the finishing process would make the coin production highly efficient. All coin blanks get a surface conditioning before minting. Minting without any quality control, of the blanks, is not usually existing. The inspection is a standalone process before minting. Nowadays, this quality control is not linked to the previous finishing process. New developments in inspection technology make it possible to combine the two processes in a fully automated way. This makes coin blanks production highly efficient!
