NEW WORKING CONCEPTS

An andon means lantern or lamp in Japanese. In the TOYOTA PRODUCTION SYSTEM the andons are used to stop the production and alert when a production problem is detected. The Visicoin 200 is our first machine with an integrated “Andon” functionality. The Visicoin 200 sorts the defective coins, but it will also be able to alert in case of an abnormal situation and stop the coining press when a quality problem is detected.
